In this episode, University of Queensland virologist, Dr Kirsty Short, helps to unpack where vaccines began, and the exciting inroads being made in modern vaccine science. Since completing her PhD in 2013, Dr Short has dedicated her research to vaccine-preventable diseases and is a passionate believer in the role of science in protecting against infectious diseases.
